direct MES – Tracking
AMS's production control system, direct MES, has tracking throughout the value chain.

Tracking with direct MES
With tracking in direct MES, all warehouse transactions are marked with, among other things, batch/serial number and/or expiration date when this is specified in the primary data on the article. This is sent to the customer's ERP-system during picking and production. ERP-system during picking and production.
Upon receipt of the goods, the batch, serial number, and expiration date can be registered via direct MES 's operator panel or PDA solution.
If the item is set up so that a quality check must be carried out, the order lines will only appear at a receiving location after the quality check is carried out. This check is carried out in the same image as in the receipt. A label with relevant information can be printed for each receipt before the goods are stored.
It will be possible for the operator to receive and reject numbers on the individual order line. In case of rejection, a comment and cause code can be stated.
