Extended deviation handling through direct MES at Ekornes
As part of a larger project with extended use of direct MES at the furniture manufacturer Ekornes, we have recently implemented an upgraded module for deviation handling in production.
We have provided deviation handling to the customer through our tif-system for several decades. Still, since this is now handled through its direct MES-module, it will appear even more streamlined and with significant functional advantages.
This extension ensures that Ekornes can link deviations directly to the product and operation from the individual workstations. This type of creation of deviations per station is very beneficial, as it is much easier to set precise measures for different parts of the production.
Ekornes is an excellent example of a proactive customer who gradually uses more and more of the modules available in direct MES for further development and streamlining of production.
